"Hi Paul
is a Water Pipit (Anthus spinoletta) of the nominal subspecies (A. s. spinoletta). The clear brow very slightly marked, almost absent, with the clear tone of the legs indistinct streaking on the flanks and scratches that can be seen on the back indicate a juvenile.
habitat you describe is typical of this pipit, which nests in areas with medium and high altitude grasslands and scrub. In winter descends to the coast and is common, for example, in Porree of the estuary of Villaviciosa.
The Coastal Pipit, indeed, has risen to the rank of species (Anthus petrosus); this we look at migration and winter (usually the subspecies A. p. petrosus, with occasional quotations of A. p. littoralis) always scarce and scattered, beaches and estuaries.

Hi, folks, as you may have noticed (or not) for quite some time I have neglected my blog. Time constraints and the poor quality of the photos I managed to get these last days, have managed to leave momentarily abandoned, though not forgotten, this space.
few days ago, during a walk with my girl (I'm getting to be interested in a little for birds), manages this picture of what I think it might be a juvenile water pipit. This is it, with all reserves in the world because, after consulting my guides (Encyclopedia of birds in Spain and identification keys to the birds of the Iberian Peninsula and Balearic Islands), I am not sure of the accuracy of my identification.
I'll be very grateful if you can confirm or refute my ID and once you are clear that the specimen in question, will update the post with the usual explanation.
For more information, the size is slightly smaller than a blackbird and was seen in a meadow about 800 meters. altitude.
